Foundation "It's Your Turn" active in Senegal Cayar!

Cayar is an authentic fishing village about 60 km from the capital Dakar. It has about 25,000 inhabitants. The living conditions are, compared with the European standards, very bad so many people have little prospect of the future. Lots of illegal boat trips were and still are organised from Cayar to Spain. During these escapes many people died and didn’t make it to Europe. The arrival of “It's Your Turn'' meant for many young people hope for the future.

The apprenticeship company YOUR Music brings two worlds together. Dutch and African musicians are using their talents together to create “It’s Your Turn” albums. The profits of the albums will benefit the projects of “It's Your Turn” in Senegal.
